WHAT WOULD OUR FOREMOTHER’S THINK OF OUR WOMEN TODAY!

YOU KNOW WE HEAR ABOUT FOREFATHERS BUT WHAT WOULD OUR FOREMOTHERS THINK ABOUT OUR WOMEN IN TODAY’S SOCIETY.

WOMEN LIKE MADAME C J WALKER FIRST BLACK FEMALE SELF MADE MILLIONAIRE, MARIE VAN BRITTAN BROWN THAT PATENT CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION, CHARLOTTE E. RAY FIRST BLACK WOMAN TO PRACTICE LAW IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA , AND OTHER GROUND BREAKING ACHIEVERS THAT PAVED THE WAY FOR BLACK WOMEN AND LEFT A IMPRESSIVE LEGACY FOR US TO FOLLOW.

AS WE SEARCH TO FIND MORE WOMEN THAT’S TRYING TO EDUCATED THEMSELVES I OFTEN SEE WOMEN  LOOSING OUR WAY.

SUCH AS WOMEN NOW WANT THE LIVES OF THE WOMEN ON THESE REALITY SHOW AND HAVING CHILDREN FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS.  WOMEN OF YESTERDAY AS  I STUDIED THE HISTORY ON BLACK WOMEN IT NEVER SEEMS TO AMAZE  ME ABOUT WHAT THEY ACCOMPLISH DURING THERE LIFE TIME.

NOW WITH SAYING THAT I LOOK AROUND AT SOME OF OUR BLACK WOMEN TODAY AND I SEE THAT A LOT OF WOMEN ARE MIMICKING THERE LIVES AFTER WOMEN ON REALITY SHOWS AND AFTER WOMEN THAT HAVE CHOSEN THE DISRESPECTFUL WAYS OF LIVING.  IF YOU GET MY POINT.   I DO BELIEVE THAT WE AS WOMEN HAVE TO BRING ALL THIS TO THE FOREFRONT OF OUR LIVING AND CAREER CHOICES.  OUR GIRLS, TEENAGERS, AND YOUNG LADIES NEED TO NOW THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX.  AND TO LOOK BACK ON OUR BLACK WOMEN THAT WAS THE GROUND BREAKER FOR US TODAY.

I’VE  CHOSE THIS TOPIC TODAY FROM THE IDEA OF A COMMENT THAT I GOT ON MY BLOG ABOUT WHAT ARE WE ACCEPTING IN OUR MARRIAGE AND RELATIONSHIPS.   AND THIS INSPIRED ME TO WRITE THIS TOPIC.

PLEASE LEAVE ME A COMMENT ON THIS TOPIC IT IS SO IMPORTANT THAT WE TRY TO REACH OUR GIRLS, TEENAGERS, AND YOUNG LADIES TO BETTER THEMSELVES NOW.  I’M GOING TO RUN THIS TOPIC FOR AWHILE FOR MANY COMMENTS AND WE CAN COME TOGETHER AS WOMEN AND TRY TO HELP OUR FUTURE WOMEN OF TOMORROW.

I think that when raising girls they have to be taught everything from home by mother grandmother or any female that is raising the child is responsible for teaching her that proper respect≥

  7. Hello! yes our foremothers would be very displeased in what we see today .
And that know one want to be entrepreneurs instead working these 9-5 and not stepping our more in the educational field to get the knowledge we need to become entrepreneurs. many women are settle with finding basketball player and football players any man in sport to cling to have a baby and live off that and are happy doing this year end year out so sad along with these reality shows such a bore and so phony .

  8. while thinking about this topic the rest of the comments really pretty much said what I was thinking and it sad. But on the topic about where is the love among women . Well we have women that’s unhappy, hateful. angry, jobless, and other issues and they walk around each and everyday with these issues and it carry on when they meet other women that’s beautiful, happy and they are hateful of there own lives so they become what we call player haters, And in many cases this start at home no mother figure or a father in there lives no home training So if you never got any love and respect in your home you would become bitter to other women. And this type of behavior starts at home .

Hello! JACQUELINE greetings in the name of Jesus.

I’ve have studied your blog and comment that pouring in and I must say it’s awesome to see women speaking out about issues that are so important, It is a know fact that the generations under ourselves have a different outlook on life and the role that’s portrayed in the homes are now being perfected on to the children, We know that some household are one parent, And we often hear mothers say that they are the mother and father, Which we know you can’t be both. But they are the bread winner in the homes, In some cases we have men also raising children.
It’s a broken system that also play a key role in our society. We must get back to the root of the matter and become that village of people that care about any child whether it’s your child or not.. But at the same time this must take place in the home first and that’s hard when we have children around mother and father that’s not doing there part for the children And these are the children that become adults and the bitterness come also.

true true and true Pastor haven and when that bitterness comes as you said it’s from not having parent that showed love in the household and not being properly taking care of in the homes we have many children today have to leave home to get food.

Our fore mothers would be very disappointing at some of the behavior that going on with women today, Some of us are not being all we can be for ourselves and nether for our families of women with children and it’s very sad and we as women must do better and set a good example for our future women.

Hello and this comment is on the topic where is the love between women today,
Well it is a lot of disrespect between women. I think it’s because we have a shortage of real men and some women just want to be angry, hateful and have no values in life . They never been taught a lot of things about love and peace so they can’t react to anything positive it’s something that they not responsive to .

This is a very good topic and my comment is that women have lost there ways some women wants something for nothing and feel the easy way out is to come up on someone else. Some women just don’t want to use there brain and continue educating themselves . So they take the easy way out in life and seek whom they can come up on.

In these times today it seems education is not important the our fore mothers took advantage of education. People always feel as if they can do without it. But you can’t because it only lead to dead end job and not a career.

I believe our fore mothers would think what is wrong with the women today, Settling for less than they deserve not trying to get an education to better there lives and just giving up. Our fore mothers didn’t have the technology we have today and yet they made it and was very sucessful doing it, Now we have all the technology and we are doing anything with it . Now Isn’t that something.

Hello and this is only my philosophy . When we enter into women hood it’s then we have to realize that we can turn any situation around, It’s now time out for the blame game. Over the years I’ve seen alot of women that came from very poor environments and turned there situation into a success and started reaching for the stars, that’s a figure of speech.
Anyway the mind set of a women plays a key role in her life bad choices will lead to bad things happening and good choices lead to good thing happening in your life, It’s just a fact of life.
Now with saying all of this, It’s time to leave the past blame in the past and women step into your future. Only you can hold yourself back no one else,

    Hi jacqueline
And I think you have very interesting blog.

And on the topic at hand I think our fore mother might be just a little disappointed in how education is not as important to women these days, but we do have women also taking advantage of furthering there education.

This is a comment on where is the love topic. In today’s society it seems like a rat race everyone in a hurry to go no where and so much hating between one another and not enough love .
women are so judgemental with one another a lot on cheating and all kind of low life stuff.
You know what I would love to see a lot of black millonaires get together and come up with more positive messages on television and by the way I’m 18 years old and see all of the mess that’s going on in the world today.

but went on and did what they had to do and I don’t remember reading anywhere in history about hated toward one another. SHAMEFUL THIS HAS TO STOP
